The Minister of Family Services and Consumer Affairs is a cabinet minister in the province of Manitoba, Canada. The position was created in 2009, when newly appointed Premier Greg Selinger created a new department of Housing and Community Development and the former Minister of Family Services and Housing (Manitoba) was assigned the dual responsibilities of Minister of Family Services and Minister responsible for Consumer Affairs.[1]
